Are you a wonder seeker?

Hi,

Glad you made it here. If you are interested in exploring your world, forever learning and building on your strengths, you are in the right place!

Wonderflock is specifically made for kids (young and old!) with specific learning issues like dyslexia that have made traditional classrooms a struggle. But we know how bright these kids are, so we are trying to help find the places and opportunities available to them to allow them to shine. Of course, everyone will benefit from this so even if you or your child don’t have a specific learning difficulty, you’ll still find value here.

And if you are neurodiverse, hooray! You will find events, places and activities that match your way of learning.

It’s nearly as awesome as how the flamingos do it (but not quite):

This is not a site to learn about how to read better. They are many resources available for that. We are a site to focus on your learning strengths. Why is this important? Ben Foss’ Headstrong Nation explains:

The key to success as a dyslexic person is to understand your strengths and weaknesses, and be comfortable talking about all of them, not trying to hide who you are from the world. This can be very scary, and you should not approach it all at once. Unwinding shame involves first understanding the facts, then starting to tell your story to people you trust, and eventually learning how to tell it to the larger world.

So, no more hiding. Now is the time to shine.

Key Points:

  • This web site will help you find fun ways to learn
  • It’s for dyslexics and others with specific learning difficulties
  • This is about finding out what you do best, and helping you do more of that.
